How We Use Design Build to Better Serve You

How We Use Design Build to Better Serve You.jpgWe at Peak Improvements are builders at heart. With more than 10 years of experience in the construction and remodeling industry, we have a passion for our work and for satisfying you.

From on-staff carpenters, project managers, design and administrative staff, to the qualified sub-trades, and our detailed process for getting your job done right the first time, we’ll earn your trust

We are also a design build firm. We work with you from start to finish on your project. It just makes sense that way. With a design build firm, there’s no need to go through the headache of coordinating with separate companies on design, permitting, product selection, and construction. Working with Peak Improvement eliminates the communication difficulties between designers, suppliers, and your contractor. Our design team and production staff are working together, coordinating your project, and making all the material selections long before construction begins.

Because of all of this, we are unable to provide you with a fixed price quotation and defined timelines from the very beginning, even before we lay out a detailed plan together. Upon the conception of your project, you immediately begin working with our design team and the process begins.

  • A detailed scope of the work is developed
  • Space planning is completed, with all required floor plans
  • Structural engineers and architectural draftsmen are consulted
  • Cabinet designs are completed and detailed with accessories, moldings etc.
  • 3-D renderings and isometric drawings are created to show you the completed space
  • All cosmetic finishes are selected, along with carefully chosen construction materials

Once all the design processes are completed and verified, site visits are made with all required trade partners, carpenters, and project managers. These details and site inspections allow us to provide the fixed price contract and defined timelines, unlike projects working on estimates and bids. This gives you, the client, confidence going forward with the renovation and a greater piece of mind knowing that timelines will be met and budgets will be upheld. We use this same approach for every project we undertake, from a $15,000 bathroom update to a $500,000 + whole house renovation.

We grew our business by championing best practices and developing an efficient, accountable renovation process. As design builders, we want to work with you on your next project.
